Back by popular demand, Points for Pedalpalooza is back in 2024.

Join Points for Pedalpalooza and pedal your way to exciting rewards! Ride your bike anywhere, log your trip on Get There, and earn 10 points per ride. Accumulate points to redeem for fantastic prizes including bike lights, tire tubes, reflective gear, and gift cards to local businesses.

The program runs from June 1 to August 31, 2024, giving you ample time to ride and rack up points. Redeem your points by September 30!

Why do you take travel options?

I get to work by bus. Although it’s a wonderful way not to have to drive my personal vehicle downtown (or pay $6 to park in the employee lot), I take the bus because of the community aspect. I like sitting on the same bus every day and seeing the same people come and go at their stops, getting a little window into their lives (and being a part of theirs). There is none of that in my own car, driving alone. Read more.

I bike 90% of the time. There are several reasons why I do this. The main reason I bike is because I really like to bike. Another reason is I don’t like sitting in a car. I really like being outdoors. When I bike in sometimes, I get to see things you wouldn’t see driving such as deer, coyotes, birds and other wildlife. Read more.

I primarily do it as a sure way to stay in shape. It’s an efficient way to get in two hours of workout time per day. The time on the bike allows me to mentally wind up for work and decompress after work. Finally, not only do I save on fuel costs, but much reduced maintenance on my vehicle over a given period. The incentives are great, honestly. $5/day + $75 a month because we carpool at least more than 50% of the time adds up. In fact, it subsidized my health care such that I barely have to pay anything for good coverage for my wife and myself. Read more.

Youth Opportunity Pass

C-TRAN's Youth Opportunity Pass is available to anyone 18 and under. It provides FREE acess to C-Tran local services, including fixed-route, C-VAN paratransit (must meet qualifications), The Current on-demand ride hail service, and Vanpool. The YOP program is only available on C-TRAN Local services and does not expand to Regional or Express routes, or TriMet.

The Vine is a Bus Rapid Transit service provided by C-Tran. The Vine currently operates on Fourth Plain Blvd and in 2023 The Vine will open on Mill Plain Blvd. The Vine on Highway 99 is in the early planning stages.
