About the Bike Month Challenge

May is National Bike Month and Get There partners in the Southwest Washington region are excited to announce the 2025 Bike Month Challenge. Hosted by the City of Vancouver and the Clark County Commute Trip Reduction program and community partners, the month-long challenge is open to anyone living and working in Clark, Skamania, and Klickitat counties. Participants can win prizes by logging any bike trip (manual or e-bike) on the Get There Southwest Washington website- whether for commuting or just getting around.

Starting May 1, Get There users can log bike trips to qualify for random weekly prize drawings, and monthly grand prize drawings, or to hold the title of Team or Individual Bike Month Champions. Join your work team or form your own team to compete, have fun, and win prizes.

Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to try biking. Look for special events during Bike Month, including, Bike to School Day on May 7, Bike to Work Week, May 12-18, Bike to Work Day Friday, May 16, and National Ride a Bike Day on May 4.

Visit the Challenge web page for updates on prizes, events and more!
